Succeeded where others failed
How Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) Powered Its Money Management Tracker with Lune
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), one of the world's largest Islamic banks, faced a widespread operational issue where personal finance tools failed to deliver actionable, real-time spending insights to customers. Payment transaction data remained cluttered, generic, and hard to interpret, causing an excessive number of transactions to fall into an unhelpful"unknown" category. To solve this, ADIB required a data infrastructure solution that could simplify personal finance tracking, clean up transaction descriptions, and support the UAE’s national mission of promoting financial literacy.

ADIB partnered with Lune, a local Emirati company that understood the nuances of transaction data in emerging markets. They embedded Lune’s transactional data enrichment platform directly into their system:

Lune Engage empowers users with a fully customizable Personal Finance Engagement (PFE) tool that facilitates tracking, saving, and goal-setting to build trust and loyalty. Embedding Lune’s Enrich & Engage Solution has enabled ADIB to launch its new Money Management Tracker, supporting UAE’s mission of promoting financial literacy.
