Lune Technologies Secures $1.5m Seed Funding

We're thrilled to announce that Lune Technologies has closed a $1.5 million seed funding round, marking a new chapter in our journey to redefine financial data analytics in the MENA region.

Support from key investors like Dubai Future District Fund, Plus Venture Capital, Reach International, and Judah Ventures will accelerate the development of our cutting-edge product suite and enable us to solidify our presence in the region. Our priority is to help clients deliver exceptional customer experiences while improving their efficiency.

Helal Tariq Lootah, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Lune stated  "This funding will propel our regional expansion, product development, and mission to revolutionize the financial services landscape. We are committed to providing our clients with the most advanced and secure data-driven solutions while simultaneously promoting a sustainable financial future. Lune's recognition as a Future 100 company and its 2023 ‘Best Technology Solution for Banking’ award from Entrepreneur Middle East further solidifies its position as a disruptive force within the financial technology landscape."

What This Means for Clients

The investment will enhance our suite of tools and provide precise, timely insights, empowering banks and fintechs to make informed decisions and deliver personalized experiences to their customers.

Amer Fatayer, Managing Director, Investment Team at Dubai Future District Fund, commented: “We are constantly excited to see what Lune can do next. Since our first investment in the company's pre-seed round, we have been highly impressed by the team's execution. Lune’s solution is enabling traditional banks and fintechs to make data-driven decisions and increase personalized engagement with their end users. Having won marquee customers across the GCC with a proven value proposition, Lune is well-placed to be the regional leader in the financial data infrastructure space.”

Moving Forward

We'll be expanding our reach in existing markets while exploring opportunities in Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Egypt. An upcoming partnership with a major GCC payments company will also amplify our impact and bring additional value to our clients.
